Why do I need a wedding coordinator?
We require weddings to hire an Oz Farm Day of Coordinator to help make the weekend go smoothly. We have found that the weddings that are the most successful are the ones with an in-house wedding coordinator. So much so that we now require each wedding to work with one of our Oz Farm coordinators. We will assign a coordinator to you after booking. The cost is $2,000.
How many day-guests are included in my rental?

How does payment work?
To reserve your weekend, a 50% deposit must be paid. An additional $1000 deposit is a refundable cleaning deposit (returned within two weeks after the wedding). The remainder of your rental fee must be received by Oz Farm at least two weeks prior to your arrival date. There is a 10% penalty for late payment. There is a 5% fee added to credit card payments. We understand that it is difficult to know the exact number of attendees for your event, so we ask you to pay using your best estimate. If more people come than you expect, we will ask you to pay the difference afterwards; if fewer people come, we will reimburse you.
Does my wedding require insurance?
Yes, we require a Certificate of Liability Insurance that must be received at least two weeks in advance, covering the dates of your event, and sponsors (typically the wedding couple) must sign a Waiver of Liability form. If we have not received a valid Certificate of Liability Insurance two weeks before your arrival date, we reserve the right to charge you our costs (approximately $500) to provide this coverage.
Do you have a list of recommended vendors?
Our Resources for Planners page has referrals to local caterers, services and accommodations for overflow guests or guests requiring less rustic accommodations.
What happens if it rains?
Luckily, at Oz Farm our event barn is able to accommodate an entire wedding and reception on the rare occasion that it rains. Ultimately, you are responsible for making arrangements to cope with inclement weather.

No, we are happy to include the use of our generator in the cost of your rental.
